Automated tower storage system for sheet metal storage
Sheet metal storage systems are available in different configurations, customised according to the customer’s needs and the type of goods stored.
The automated tower racking system allows you to store sheet metal of different thicknesses, tubes, profiles and other long, heavy goods or semi-finished products in a single tower. These products are loaded onto the shelves by vertical lift and horizontal drives.
The system can be easily integrated directly with a laser or other cutting centre using a vacuum lifter.

The automated tower racking system allows you to store sheet metal of different thicknesses, tubes, profiles and other long, heavy goods or semi-finished products in the tower. These products are loaded onto the shelves by vertical lift and horizontal drives.
The system can be easily integrated directly with a laser or other cutting centre using a vacuum lifter.
Logitower’s automated shelving system will be built to match the existing premises and will allow full use of the building’s usable height. Effective use of floor space is improved by a factor of 10 and the need for product handling and internal transport is significantly reduced.
The maximum height of a single tower shelf is 8,000 mm (28 shelves), while the maximum height of a twin-tower solution is 12,000 mm (103 shelves). The load capacity of a single shelf is up to 8000kg, the maximum load capacity of a single tower is up to 225 tonnes.
The shelves are available for all standard sheet sizes up to L2000 x P6000 mm.
Each tower is individually operated by a local control system, the location, quantity and other data are recorded when goods are stored. Each individual tower can be integrated with your company’s ERP, warehouse and production management system. Data on the goods stored on the shelves are visible in real time. When the shelf is empty, the purchasing department has the possibility to full the racks with new material.
Each item and shelf has a specific address, and the location of the goods can be found easily and quickly.
Accidental human errors are minimised.
